Job Description:
Applicants should have a good general Industrial Electrical/Electronics engineering background, including electrical
equipment used in heavy industrial and power plant. The successful candidates must be conversant with combined cycle power generators,
High voltage distribution system, Electrical protection systems, Power conversion Rectifiers, Power transformers, multi-flash desalination
units, waste heat boilers, deaerators, and software control systems.
The candidate will be expected to perform following functions in accordance with the safety procedures and plant operational requirements
with minimum direction and supervision:
Trouble-shoot, repair, re-commission and maintain efficiently a wide range of electrical machinery, equipment and electrical
instruments to ensure efficient operation and reduce production down time.
Testing, fault finding, diagnosing failures on electrical plant & equipment and monitor any repeated breakdowns & make an approved
modification to resolve the problems by attending to all equipment breakdowns and planned maintenance work.
Order spare parts from warehouse and maintain records of all maintenance work completed using the computerized maintenance
system.
Receive, read and understand drawings and job instructions from immediate superior.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, including computer related subjects or an equivalent qualification. Post
apprenticeship and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position (in a Power Plant or equivalent heavy industrial plant with
exposure preferably in high voltage electrical environment). Must be familiar with all maintenance tools, electrical test equipment.

Job description
Trouble-shoot, repair and maintain efficiently a wide range of machinery and equipment to ensure efficient operation and reduce
production down time.
Attend to all equipment breakdowns and planned maintenance work with minimum direction and supervision.
Technically assess the requirement of allocated jobs and select the necessary tools and equipment to complete such work.
Using the computerized maintenance system orders the spare parts from warehouse and maintains records of all maintenance work
completed.
Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with the safety procedures and plant operational requirements.
Job Description: Calibrates, maintains, and troubleshoot process instruments and control systems, replaces worn, damaged or failed equipment and
components to support plant operations. Conducts any required inspections/post-maintenance testing of systems, equipment and components as
necessary to ensure systems, equipment and components are returned to operational conditions. Performs preventive maintenance on instruments
and control systems and involve in the installation and removal of piping, circuits and associated instrumentation and equipment supporting plant
modifications.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Industrial Instrumentation and/or Electronic Engineering including computer related subjects or an equivalent qualification.
5 years experience in a similar position. Candidate should have an excellent General Industrial Control and Instrumentation Engineering background

Water Treatment using computer-based systems. In addition, they should have a good working knowledge on Microsoft Windows ’98, Windows 2000,
or Windows NT. Knowledge of C++/Visual Basic will be an added advantage. Candidates should also be aware of software engineering techniques.
                                                     
Job description: Use test equipment (Megger, Multimeter, Laptop PC); read schematic diagrams, diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of
equipment. Assess situations and take appropriate corrective decisions. Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, troubleshoot, modify and
maintain machineries. Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) techniques. Check and modify PLC
programs.

Experience in Hydraulics/Pneumatic is essential.

Salary & Benefits
Instrumentation Technician (Power & Smelter)
: Basic AED 54,600/- p.a
Electrician and Maintenance Mechanic (Power & Smelter)
: Basic AED 44,850/- p.a
